Bureau Brut

L214 is an association for animal welfare, concentrating on animals used as feeding resource (egg, meat, milk, fish).

The association contacted us to create a new logotype for their visual identity. They wanted a unique and recognizable typeface, a rebel version of Gotham, their body copy typeface.

The typeface must showcase the contrarian and determined personality of the association. Its inspiration comes from the first sans serif typefaces from the 19th century, rough and vibrant.

We also suggested and drawn a full character set derived from the logotype, but this project is not used at the moment.
