The story of a beautiful contradiction.
If you run around the rounded long enough, you might be inclined to make it square. And that’s exactly what has transpired with the “Round” typeface. The visually impactful cut angled terminals and stylishly rounded simplicity evoke a modern geometrical fluid approach to design, going to round then square, and back again. Unique characteristics of this typeface can be seen in the lowercase b, d, p, and q where the vertical bars cut through the rounds with sharp precision to create a graphically eye catching font, perfect for developing logos and any branding project. This font is optimised for text and graphic fluidity, when used in small text size, optically the corners transform right before your eyes into a rounded caress. The “Round” is not round, nor really a geometric, nor a humanist typeface, it’s something in between and more complex, It’s an exploration in design where a physical object, in this case a marker has determined the digital form, and type design imitates life and influences the way we look at the world around us.

As to its dimensions, I could only conjecture them to be admirably proportioned.

I concluded definitely that it belonged to the vertebrate branch, class mammalia.

A cry of fury broke from everyone! At noon we were no further advanced than at eight o’clock in the morning. The captain then decided to take more direct means. “Ah!” said he, “that animal goes quicker than the Abraham Lincoln. Very well! we will see whether it will escape these conical bullets. Send your men to the forecastle, sir.” The forecastle gun was immediately loaded and slewed round. But the shot passed some feet above the cetacean, which was half a mile off. “Another, more to the right,” cried the commander, “and five dollars to whoever An old gunner with a grey beard—that I can see now—with steady eye and grave face, went up to the gun and took a long aim. A loud report was heard, with which were mingled the cheers of the crew. The bullet did its work; it hit the animal, and, sliding off the rounded surface, was lost in two miles depth of sea.
