About Round Ultra

Designed by Bureau Brut in 2025

The Round Ultra stands out with its narrower proportions while remaining true to the essence of the Round: rounded letters (O, Q, a, b, d, p, q, g) that retain their unique character. As in the Round, the circular shapes are intersected by straight stems, achieving a subtle balance between fluidity and geometric structure. Only the other characters are condensed, further emphasizing the round shapes and enhancing their distinctive visual impact.
Designed to work in perfect harmony with the Round, the Round Ultra shares the same number of styles and weight values. The rounded letters are identical in both families, with only the spacing adjusted. This compatibility expands creative possibilities, enabling dynamic compositions between text and titles.
While the Round excels in body text with its balance of geometry and humanism, the Round Ultra takes center stage in large sizes. Ideal for headlines, editorial design, or visual identities, it brings graphic richness and a bold presence to your typographic compositions.
It is also possible to purchase all families, forming the Round Collection.
